Re: Accessible FTP clients.
Another FTP client I really like for the Mac is Transmit. Everything I've seen in that app is accessible. It costs a bit from the Mac App Store but is well worth it. accessible FTP clients?
Hello all: My name is Amber and I have had my Mac Book for almost two years now and love it. I also have an iPhone, and an airport express. I love streaming things to my stereo using the airport express. I am new to this list so wanted to say hello. I am also wondering if anyone knows of an accessible, relatively inexpensive FTP client for the Mac? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hi Amber, ewelcome to the list. This is The Constantly Barefooted Ray here; and, just in case you are wondering, yes, I always am when home, inside or outside. As to your TP question, many here have found that an app called Transmit is quite usable; but, as I understand it, it's not free. I do know that there are free FTP clients out there; but, since it's been ages since I've had to make use of one, I cannot now remember. Sincerely, The Constantly Barefooted Ray!!! Hello, have you tried to use terminal? If the server you are trying to connect to is a secure server the terminal will be your best bet. On the other hand if you have an account on the machine in question and just wish to connect to it in the normal way I think you can use that by means of connecting to server. Hopefully others will have some other good suggestions for you. Sincerely maurice mines. On Oct 30, 2012, at 5:30 AM, Donna Goodin doniado...@me.com wrote: Hi Amber, Welcome to the list!
