Hi Karen, I agree and believe that Apple Accessibility has been notified. That shouldn't stop anyone from adding their voice to the problem though. Mostly, all that I was saying, was that after you know the issue, it's not a big deal of a workaround. I've certainly had much more problematic workarounds to either determine, or remedy. Later... Hi E.T., Well, I'll say this, the process is certainly not intuitive, at least, not in my opinion. Were it not for your quick reply to my question, I would never have thought to look any further than the voice activity table. To be even more honest, I thought that the label, Alex, Compact, was some kind of VoiceOver typo. I had no idea that Alex had a compact version. Anyway, upon exploring VoiceOver utility, I noticed that the Alex TTS is listed as Alex, Compact. Can this be right?
