Hi Tim, thanks a lot, everything is working as expected now. Both hand off and 
Universal clipboard. Didn’t know about that time limitation on Universal 
clipboard though, very interesting.

Hi Phil,

The Universal Clipboard should just work as long as you are on the same WiFi, 
Bluetooth is enabled on both devices, and Hand-off is enabled on those same 
devices.  So, turning Bluetooth back on may already have helped your situation. 
 Hand-off on your Mac is in System Prefs, general.  On an iOS device, it's in 
Settings, General.  Before messing with the other continuity things for 
Messages and Phone, it it didn't start working after Bluetooth was enabled on 
both devices, I suggest you restart them both and testing if you can now phone 
from your computer and if you can either hand-off or copy/paste between 
devices.  Remember that the Universal Clipboard is a short-term allowance, that 
is, you must do the paste on the second device within a minute or two.  I'm not 
certain on the time, but it is limited and the Apple documentation says "a 
short time".  yes, a rather vague limitation.

I’ve checked off and then checked back on the continuity setting i.e. handoff

They work as expected for me.  I had to check the Universal Clipboard as I 
don't use it much but continuity has continued working normally for me.  I'm 
running an iPhone 8 as well as an iPad Pro and MacBook Pro, all with the latest 
updates.  For continuity, you may need to turn the feature off then re-add it.  
You may wish to do the same with Hand-off on both devices to see if that helps 
with the Universal Clipboard problem.

Has something happened to knock continue at 10 to new woody and Universal 
clipboard out of the water with the latest High Sierra? I have an iPhone ate 
running the latest iOS as well as a Mac with the latest hi Sierra and neither 
of these functions, either continuity, or universal clipboard are working?
