It is, but each developer can add up to 100 devices. If you know someone who already has a developer account, they can add you. Apple won't be happy if it finds out that people are charging to add a device, but provided you add the device of a friend and no money changes hands, that's OK. Hi. I'm thinking to join the beta testing program for IOS8, it will be the first time to me. An article read somewhere in the net, told about a severe usage of the battery from the betas. As I got just this iPhone 5 which is my only and main phone, do you think it's convenient to me, try it or not? I need at least a battery life of 12 / 14 hours. Hi Gabriele, At this point I would not get the iOS beta if you don't seriously know what you're doing (or aren't a developer). The first few betas are the most bug prone. I think it would be against the NDA to discuss effects or anything to do with the beta on a public list such as this anyways. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, of course.
