Re: OCR for iPhone 4s or iPad

2012-06-18 Thread Anne Robertson
Hello Paul,

I probably spent about an hour learning how to use Prizmo. However, I recently
had a client who learned how to use it in ten minutes and he had no sight at
all, either!

You need a steady hand or something to rest the phone on while taking the
picture. I use the voice command to minimise the risk of shaking the phone.

Have you read the Prizmo guide on Applevis?

Cheers,

Anne

Not exactly. Once Prizmo is set up correctly, you select Text, take the
picture of the page, tap Use and wait for the OCR to be completed.

It takes some practice to get the knack.

Hi,

in the iPad 2, you basically have the same cameras found in the 4th gen iPod
touch. In the new iPad, you will find a 5mp camera on the back similar to what
is found in the iPhone 4.
