Re: A service better than drop box, I love it!

2017-03-27 Thread Tim Kilburn
Hi,

The pCloud service appears to use a Disk Image format instead of the regular
sync folder format like DropBox and Google Drive use. with the Disk Image
style, these items are accessible but not actually stored on your device. The
syncing process will be a little different, but as long as you have a quality
internet connection, you likely won't notice much difference.

Hi,

sort of. From that link, you are being invited to have a Premium membership.
The Premium membership has a monthly fee and you are offered your first month
for free. That's why you are also asked for credit card info. You can accept
this, then make sure that you change it down to a regular account prior to the
30 day trial ending. Alternatively, you can just sign up yourself, without the
invitation eMail from Kliphton. this will not give Kliphton the invitation
rewards, but it's the same thing in the end.

Okay, I am on another list that shares media and other
things. And instead of using dropbox, or send space with I absolutely hate,
they used a service called “pCloud”. It has a IOS, Mac, windows, and android
app. You get 10GB free, and get 1GB up to 20gb free for referring a friend.
You get upload and download traffic allowances, and the app is 100 percent
accessible on both Mac and PC. CAn’t say for windows or android, cause I don’t
use it on either of those platforms. Anyway, it’s free, unless you want to
upgrade, and there plans are insanely cheap. Anyway, below is my referral
link. Sign up with it, and we both get a free GB.

What's the name of this media service you're with? I'm a part of the mediareq

because it's so slow and you're only allowed so much that you can download per

I can report that the PCloud service looks quite nice on a Samsung Galaxy S7

to change completely from Dropbox to PCloud given that i have friends on

Okay, I am on another list that shares media and other things. And
instead of using dropbox, or send space with I absolutely hate, they used
a service called “pCloud”. It has a IOS, Mac, windows, and android app.
You get 10GB free, and get 1GB up to 20gb free for referring a friend.
You get upload and download traffic allowances, and the app is 100 percent
accessible on both Mac and PC. CAn’t say for windows or android, cause I
don’t use it on either of those platforms. Anyway, it’s free, unless you

Just had a quick look att the windows side fo the website,

Not overly impressed with the site from within IE,
And that’s just signing up.

Oh well, also not impressed with needing to give credit card details for
something that is meant to be free.

HI Cliffton,

You say it’s fully accessible for MAC and PC, but not sure for windows or
android,

Do you mean it’s fully accessible for IOS and Mac OS ??

Sounds pretty good but just want to confirm

For 5 bucks a month, or 48 bucks a year you can get 500GB of space. For 9.99 a
month or 100 bucks a year you get 1TB of storage. And the nice thing is it
doesn’t take up space on your computers hard drive. Sign up with this link and
we will both get a free GB
