Re: Accessible Audio Player for Mac other than Cog?
Hi. If you are talking about DSD images or tracks you can try Audiorvana. Vlc is not a bad idea for playing stereo, but is really a painful thing to play multi-channel audiotracks in videos on Mac. iTunes is good enough, but you are not able to switch your audio devices on the fly. Also you can use Decibel, I personally prefer Audiorvana. AZ 18.05.2015 14:21, Anders Holmberg wrote: Hi! Never heard of Cog but vlc is really great. Re: Accessible Audio Player for Mac other than Cog?
Well yeah, for playing audio at least. Never liked the idea of iTunes adding audio to its library before you have a chance to listen. I mean, what if you don't want that audio in its library? But hey that's Apple and iTunes for you. No rant; just saying. On 17 May 2015, at 20:09, Jim Gatteys jgatt...@gmail.com wrote: I really like VLC. I'd rather use it than iTunes. VLC looks perfect. Thanks so much, works awesome. On 5/17/2015 7:15 PM, Shaf wrote: Yeah, Cog is still pretty awesome at what it does. Thanks for the recommendation. Seriously though, try VLC from Videoland. I know you're wanting audio, not video, but trust me, it does both. It's open source, so is totally free, and yes, there are plugins you can get, to the best of my knowledge, and yes, there are global hotkeys, at least the last I checked. As subject states. Looking for a better player than Cog. I'm looking for something which has more options such as rewind/forward system wide hotkeys, plugin support etc. Suggestions would be hugely appreciated. -Shaf -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MacVisionaries group.
