Re: VO accessible FTP Client
I really don't recommend using the FTP terminal app unless you have experience working with command line apps. If you don't, it is likely to be a confusing and difficult process. Transmit from Panic.com is my FTP client of choice. It is not free, however. :) On Jul 4, 2009, at 11:46 AM, Barry wrote: Mike, You can just open terminal and type ftp. Re: VO accessible FTP Client
Transmit is not free. That is it's only real drawback. The FTP command line option in Terminal is included as part of the system, but will doubtless prove difficult for less advanced users. While I could use the FTP option in Terminal, I find it too clunky for m y own personal taste, so use Transmit. Having options is good. :) On Jul 4, 2009, at 4:38 PM, Chris Gilland wrote: Or why not use Transmit? I don't recall telling anybody not to use it. I simply gave another option. On Jul 4, 2009, at 6:38 PM, Chris Gilland wrote: Or why not use Transmit? Re: VO accessible FTP Client
Thanks guys, I've been needing an FTP program and couldn't remember what the name of the one I've heard blind mac users talking about. Had thought it was transmition or some other automotive sounding name. It is called Transmit though? Very good to know. Re: VO accessible FTP Client
Hi Mike, try Transmit from www.panic.com. IT's not free, but it's well worth it. On Jun 29, 2009, at 6:41 PM, Mike wrote: Hi all: Anyone knwo of an accessible VO FTP client?
