I've tried to start bootpd in debug mode but that isn't enough to create a managed network. And if the driver program /usr/libexec/ InternetSharing has a debug mode it isn't documented. And if there's a way to enable debugging by setting a flag in its preference file (/Library/Preferences/ SystemConfiguration/com.apple.nat.plist) it's also not documented:-( -- Jack Jansen, [EMAIL PROTECTED], http://www.cwi.nl/~jack If I can't dance I don't want to be part of your revolution -- Emma Goldman smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature ___ maemo-developers mailing list maemo-developers@maemo.org https://maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-developers

No clue and a quick search did not provide any info. Sorry I can't help here. Is the Powerbook the one setting up the WLAN network or is there an AP in between? If the Powerbook created the WLAN, does it run in ad-hoc or managed (access point) mode (e.g. the WLAN icon in the 770 is set according to the WLAN mode)? The 770 continues to send DHCP requests frequently even after it connected using a link-local connection. Yes, it is supposed to do that. As tcpdump shows, requests are sent but no replies are heard.
