[Mailman-Users] Link in list message footer?

2018-08-13 Thread Glen Page
Is it possible to include an HTML link or links in the footer of list messages?
We use mailman to send messages to parents of our students. We have our own
mobile app and would love to be able to include a link to the app in both the
Apple App store and the Google Play store if that is possible.

Thanks in advance.

Re: [Mailman-Users] Mailman-Users Digest, Vol 154, Issue 30

2016-12-20 Thread Glen Page
Stephen,

Thanks. I am pretty sure that the only thing I deleted was the sender name so
not sure which header fields you think are missing.

I will forward this info on to the consultant that built and maintains both my
spam-assassin and mailman builds and see what he can figure out.

Thanks again for the help.

[Mailman-Users] list mail increasingly flagged as spam

2016-12-19 Thread Glen Page
I have recently begun to see (and get complaints from some of my users) our
list messages being flagged on many users end as spam messages. Wondering if
there is anything that i can do on our end to decrease the likelyhood of our
messages being flagged as spam. If it would help, I can send some header info
from some of our messages.

[Mailman-Users] attachment size?

Where do I control how large of an attachment a particular list will accept?

I have message length set to 0 (max_message_size) but the message keeps getting
rejected with a "552 5.3.4 Error: message file too big" message.

[Mailman-Users] pending moderator request question

For the last several days, I have been getting a "1 Mailman moderator

She is one of a very few that area allowed to post to this list. The

Moderator is CREATING the message in the mail client. This a an
announce list so she is one of the only ones allowed to post to it. I
suspect that she might be using cut and paste to paste MS Word

Re: [Mailman-Users] Mailman-Users Digest, Vol 36, Issue 24

2007-02-16 Thread Glen Page
Not sure if this is related by I got an odd message from one of my
moderators. At least one list subscriber is getting messages but the
top half of the messages is gone. This is puzzling as it is not
happening to everyone on the list. I do NOT know what client is
displaying the partial messages. I do know that the moderator sending
the messages is using OS X Mail Client.

Moderator has found that adding a few carriage returns to the top of
the original post makes it show up fine.

[Mailman-Users] suppression of recipient list?

2006-11-18 Thread Glen Page
I have read the FAQs and searched both the FAQs and the archives and
can't find an answer so I am posting it here to see if anyone else
has seen this problem and/or knows a solution.

I have Mailman ver. 2.1.9 up and running successfully. All the lists
seem to be working fine with one "small" but potentially "big" flaw.
On all of my lists, when a message is sent to the list, the message
received by the list members has the entire list of members in the
header of the email. This text is quoted from one such header:

X-Thet.Net-Mailscanner-From:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Note -- I edited the list name and replace the real subscriber names
with user1, user2 etc. as this is supposed to be private list and we
are trying to avoid some spam.

I have done everything that I can think of and don't know where else
to look. Is this something Mailman is doing or is it Mailscanner?
How do I fix it?

The other complaint that I had from one subscriber was that the
messages from the list are in a "slightly odd format that confused my
mail reader. It was a multipart MIME message where the main part,
the message itself, was treated as an enclosure."
Is this something I can do something about?

Thanks in advance for helping someone new to Mailman!
