Feedback loop formats are IP-based (traditional), aggregated &

[mailop] Fwd: Hotmail questions

2019-08-17 Thread Udeme Ukutt via mailop
Resending as I sent to .com instead of .org ...

-- Forwarded message -

Hello mailop (mostly sending parties),

I'm curious to understand how large-volume senders manage 'Hotmail
throttling' - backoffs, slow down affected IPs for x minutes/hours etc?

I'm researching into how to mitigate this from a high level; we implemented
some technical changes last fall that helped - but the pain is creeping
back again.

Kindly ping me directly offline.

Thanks in advance,

I’ve not had issues submitting stuff through the Yahoo Postmaster forms in
the last few weeks - most recent a few days ago. Basically before you try
to, you need to (create and then) login to a yahoo email address - then
visit postmaster.yahoo.com.

 Hi Lindani,

Alice is part of Telecom Italia. We had some success in the past with
 abuse@ or postmaster@.

 Other “insider” tips:
 - use no more than 4 concurrent connections
 - send no more than 50 messages per connection
 - make sure you have low unknown user rate

Re: [mailop] Yahoo blacklist removal

2016-11-15 Thread Udeme Ukutt
Hi David,

(From personal/industry experience,) the best pipeline is to visit
postmaster.yahoo.com & complete the form that best addresses your delivery
issue. It'll get assigned a ticket/incident # and you'll actually hear back
from someone.

Emailing those addresses may not get you anywhere.

Thx & good luck.

with a brief description of the issue

Or - submit a brand new ticket, and then respond with a summarized
description of the issue.
