And I already had a look at this yesterday, but didn't investigate any further because we had to sort out deliverability issues by then. And I don't consider this a critical issue. It doesn't open a security hole and AFAIK the additional hostname will not have an impact on deliverabilty. Re: [mailop] [ADMIN] List migration complete
I've just gone though some unsubscribes for the last few days ago hopefully we are now synced. If you have unsubscribed from the list recently and are still subscribed then please unsubscribe again and it should stick. I am going to temporarily enable the mailman's monthly password reminder. This should send out an email tomorrow to all subscribers with their password. I will turn it off after the single mailout. PS: In the past we have been hit be a problem where gmail will reject emails sent to multiple domains (all with the same gmail MX) at once. Does anyone remember the postfix/mailman setting to disable this? Simon. Hi all On 29 Sep 2020, at 17:06, Al Iverson wrote: > The message has appeared! Thank you kindly for keeping the list up and > running! Thanks :) Predictably we have had/are having some teething troubles which those of you wearing deliverabiity hats will be very familiar with - a couple of DNSBLs had the IPv4 address listed as ‘DUL’, which it isn’t, and they’ve changed that (thanks to both of them for responding so quickly); we’ve got a couple of quirks relating to DANE which Patrick is looking into; and Google’s random-source-address retry mechanism is falling foul of postscreen, causing messages to be delayed on the way in. Notably Microsoft’s response to email from the new list IP was an outright block with a link to follow in the SMTP response, which we did, and the address was delisted immediately. It pays to watch your logs, folks! Please bear with us while we work through these wrinkles. Graeme ___ mailop mailing list mailop@mailop.org https://list.mailop.org/listinfo/mailop
