Hi Miers: Say, i want to develop an client server application using mapX. My tables will have both read and write facility, say i am creating a customer support solution where each customer care representative updates the complaints table. now say if I have one complaint table on the server, how would mapx handle simultaneous updates ( assuming my table in is native TAB format)? do I need to have a databse like ORACLE8i on the client side that can also store map data to allow simultaneous updates? any suggestions? -- rajeev saraf lepton software

Re: MI [Q] From Vector topo to DEM
you can create a DEM ( raster only) in mapinfo 5.0 and greater. first convert all your lines into pts using utility available on mapinfo list ( i think its called allpts.mbx or similar). once you have a point file with height data, just do athematic mapping uding grid thematic option to cerate a continuous raster image. -- rajeev saraf -Original Message- From: Sung-jun Myung <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Thursday, March 02, 2000 11:55 PM Subject: MI [Q] From Vector topo to DEM > >Hi.. > >I have a vector topo map (elevation) and would like to convert it to >raster like DEM. Re: MI Dot Density custom symbols
What you may do is: Add 10 fields to planning district that stores the total number of clients in each program. Now you can create a pie chart or bar chart to show the numbers for each zone in each program. -- Rajeev saraf -Original Message- From: W.
