 Product Info.

I'm seeking information about these two products. If you had used these
two
products or one of them or had information about them, I will appreciate
if you
could pass that info. to me.

I'm trying to get the following and want to see if these two products or
one of
them could help me or if there's another product you knew of.

 My challenge:

Using a road network (fabric), I need to identify and obtain the shortest
and
longest distance from a point to a point or the distance for all possible
routes. It seems the RouteView Pro may do that but not sure. My database
varies
from 500k records to 3 million records.

I will appreciate any info. about these two products or any other product
that
 could help in this.

 Thank you,
 Othman Issa

Jacques
Good idea, I would sponsor for six month. $150 is not a bad deal for
publicity, and to maintain the list independent.

To advertising, of which I have no idea how obtrusive it could become, I
 would prefer sponsorship.

It could take a very simple form. Add 4 lines in the message that is
always
at the end of our mail (To unsubscribe...) that will say :

This month, the mapinfo-l site is supported by: ... and a max of 3 lines
identifying the sponsor and its coordinates.

Sponsorship will be obtained by paying a given amount per month (let us
say
$25). Sponsors could buy more than a month at the time (simplification on
the administrative side) but they will be given "recognition" in
alternation
with other sponsors if any are "waiting" (to avoid monopolization because
 mapinfo-l is a collective enterprise).

I am sure that among us there are certainly 12 persons or companies ready
to
spend a legal expense of $25 (even in US $) once a year to keep this
famous
ball rolling. Keep it within ourselves and we will continue enjoying it
 fully.

Re: MI Routing Add-Ons

1999-11-29 Thread Yosri Diab

Cassie
Visit DiabSoft Site at www.DiabSoft.com , and download an Eval copy of
either Driving Directions DrDir or Driving Directions DrDir Pro. Both
Software are integrated inside MapInfo Pro. However if you want to write
your own Visual Basic, MapBasic, or Visual C download an Eval version of
DrDir DK, the Developer Kit for Routing.
Happy Routing with RouteFX Family.

 Hi All,

Does anyone know of a good Routing Add-On for MapInfo? As most of you
know
MapInfo purchased On Target Mapping and has chosen not to support the OTM
 routing products.

 Any Suggestions???

Thanks in advance for your help.
