Dear Alan, yes . the issue was with the imageurl. WEB TEMPLATE /var/www/tutorial/example2-1.html IMAGEPATH /var/www/tutorial/tmp/ IMAGEURL http://localhost/tutorial/tmp/; END now it works ! I was worrying about the permission , as not familiar with ubuntu and failed to identify actual error.
