ah, good to know - if that works, it's a bit more relaxed, of course. We 
just need to set some limits on what people can do (like not using 
foreign trademarks as AdWords).

We are used to work as a team (and we really want to further this way of
working for the FR community), so please come to the FR team if you want
to do localization especially if it concerns legal things. Thanks in

I think all contributor lists are snowed under. There is no problem with 
some of us (marketing contributors) to help with translation. The same 
goes for EN marketing members, if you speak EN and the text is in DE, 
with the aid of Google translate, you could localize such things in EN.

I think the various translators teams are desperately "snowed under" just 
trying to translate the guides.  However, i am fairly sure that posting a 
request to the international translators list might well generate some 
interest.  I'm not sure if it's their job or the websites team to put links on 
various LoCo websites but links to the existing translations of the various 
licenses (LGPL and MPL?) might be a good start.

French), and the links to the statutes and the manifesto are documents in
English.

It might be easier to get people to donate to TDF/adopt LO if documentation
was available in French. At least the main documents like the manifesto and
statutes.

If you follow the FR link at the top at the pages, you'll see that our
team has translated them. It's only me who didn't add the localized link
in the donate page.
