That is why I believe those dots in root dir are completely useless. Hi, That is why I believe those dots in root dir are completely useless. Let's not pollute mc code with useless options. I vote for a configfile-only option for '..' in root. It doesn't pollute code (adding 2 new lines (int hide_root_dotdot=0; and a line in setup.c's table) and adding a variable to an if() shouldn't hurt). I think it's better if the app is customizable (down to the tiny details) than if developers decide what the user wants.
