MD: Digital Deejaying?

2000-07-31 Thread Spicefish9

Hey fellas!

Anyone know of a program that will allow you to mix and record mp3's and
wav's? I'm looking for a program with some effects, but mostly to mix my
mp3's so i can fit a ton of half and quarter songs onto one minidisc.

thanks!

MD: USB to digital?

2000-06-30 Thread Spicefish9

Greetings,

In a week I will be getting my mandatory college laptop, complete with a
DVD player. I am curious as to if there is a way for me to outfit my laptop
with any sort of digital output? Is there a USB to digital contraption
anyone knows about? Any information would be welcomed. I have no idea
exactly what kind of soundcard it has...I glimpsed a friends and it looked
like it just had a headphone jack. Thanks!

Re: MD: copying to CD burner

2000-01-05 Thread Spicefish9

Hello!

I was in the same predicament as you a few months ago. My soundcard has
no digital in so i was forced to make an analog CD. What I did was get an
RCA cable that joins into one input plug. I stuck that bad boy in my comp's
soundcard in and the two RCA cables in my minidisc deck's output. The
program I use is called Jetaudio and works great. A good audio editor is
necessary to take the input from your deck and convert them to wavs. If you
do this at a sample rate of 44.1 it is near CD quality. I cannot tell unless
i listen on incredibly great speakers.

hope that helped,

MD: Casio MD Player

Hey,
Is anyone familiar with the Casio MD portable player? How well does it
uncompress the songs? How does it compare with the Sony players and Aiwa
players?
Thanks,

Alright,

I got the program, payed the shareware fee...yet, whenever i try to
record through the line in on my soundcard..all I get are little clicks.
Where can I adjust the line in volume in this program? I'm confused as heck!

thanks!

~Brad
it seems to be a great program as far as editing wavs go...i just wanna put
some of my minidisc songs on there.

Re: MD: RE: MZ-E55

Hey guys,

I'm trying to take music off my Minidisc portable and put it on my
computer. My dad is encouraging me to use this PC, even though I've used a
mac mostly before. Because of this I have no idea how to get my music on the
computer. I've got it hooked up now via 1/8 inch input/output cables to the
mic input...but after i do that, how/what program do i use to actually grab
the music. Any kind of microphone program i can use it to grab them to
wav's? I've looked at it with audiocatalyst, but i still can't surmise a
way. Can someome please lemme know what to do?

Thankyas
