is it possible that you need the japanese version of windows to run the software? Try poking around on the web and seeing if you can download the dlls that only come with the asian windows packages. http://www.japansh.com/hintstips.htm has some stuff listed but I didn't spend a lot of time searching so try at your own risk. -Jen I tried everything already... win98SE, ME, and 2000... and none of them works... any ideas? I think of the same thing too.. but I don't know Japanese, and I have to use the English version of Windows... I tried the web already, and all I got is the M-Crew software, not the driver... without the driver, the thing just won't work neither... By the way, I tried to change the Win2k to the Japanese version, but it still doesn't work... Sony just have the worst tech support whatsoever... MD: HELP needed for Sony MDS-PC3 and PC Link
Hi everybody, does anybody on the list here own a MDS-PC3? I just got it with the PC-link, but after I install the software, all I got is that the device is not responding, and I can't do anything with the PC-link kit. For some reasons, the software CD that come with the kit is in Japanese, maybe this is the problem. Can anyone help me with this by sending me the drivers file on the installation CD?
