Re: MD: md/puter
Steve, sorry about not putting in the chipsets etc, that was my fault. here is what the manual says the chipsets and stuff are. Creative ct5880 sound, it says both the sound and spdif are optional in the manual but mine came with both. it appears to set up the sound card as a sound blaster pci 128. the markings on the chipset on the mb are as follows. Creative CT5880-DBQ 9950H J9080 Kor it has 3 aux inputs on the mb for CD, AUX, Tel as far as digital inputs from a cd rom or other device i do not see any on the mb I hope this helps out in some of your questions. - Original Message - From: Steve Corey [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, September 27, 2000 9:12 AM Subject: Re: MD: md/puter Matthew Wall wrote: computer so i was looking at mb ideas, i ran across gigabyte's GA-6VXD7, = a dual socket 370 mb, well anyway when ordered it, they didn't say = snip good) anyway when i got to the audio portion i was very very very happy = to learn that it has a MD optical out on it very similar to that of MD = portables. anyway i set it up and it worked great and i saved a pci = On the specs for that moboard, it says that it is a creative PCI audio driver.
