How would I go about fixing this?  I just went to one of the repair places
around the corner from work and he wanted $40 for an inspection fee, and
then said that the audio guys where off for 3 weeks holiday...

Hmm, sounds like a stuck disc... Try pushing halfway, I don't know, you need
to find a way to close the shutter It's difficult to say how. Try looking
inside the unit to see what's blocking

 Eeeep - just cause I'm urgently needing to copy some MD's down to cassette
 to give to some musicians to learn the music, my md recorder decides it's
 NOT going eject the MD thats inside now ;(

 I pull the eject leaver down and the little hatch opens and the MD just
 doesn't eject :(

 Anyone experianced this before?
