Re: MD: Hello , I have a few questions:
well long play depends on you. if you like MP3's, long play is great. if you think mp3's lack all quality whatsoever and pretty much do not use them except in extreme cases where you can not find the original, then lp probably isn't what your looking for. as for "best" that's one that nobody can answer, you should ask "what might be the most appropriate recorder/player for my situtation" and then give the parameters or your search, that would help out more than best. - Original Message - From: "Lion Shmulevich" [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: "MD list" [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, February 24, 2001 8:21 AM Subject: MD: Hello , I have a few questions: Hello , I have a few questions: 1) Which is the best MD now availabale? (I thought of the sony mz-r90) 2) I heard that the MDLP system is not so good. I mean the sound quality in LP-2/4, is it true? 3) What is the best price for the sony mz-r90 (I found it for 197.95$, is there anywhere less?) thank you. IMHO this is not true. I think the LP2 mode is perfectly acceptable for mobile use. I think it's a real plus for this reason. The LP4 mode is great for time shifting FM radio, etc. Another boon. I personally would not purchase an MD unit without the LP feature for these reasons. I have to portable units, an E40 player and an R50 recorder/player. And I have a 940 deck with LP. I plan to add an R900 or similar Sharp unit (ST70?) soon. LP is that useful in my hands. Of course your priorities may be different. -jts Arlington, TX - To stop getting this list send a message containing just the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
RE: MD: Hello , I have a few questions:
Agreed! I have the 940 and the E900. and they make a great couple... Personally I couldn't hear any difference between SP and LP2. however, there is a difference in LP4...the most obvious difference is the channel separation.. which is not as clear as the other 2 mode.. but it's still very good.
