Implementasi IMAPnya outlook out of date, sent folder tidak sync dg IMAP
server.
Beda dengan IMAPnya thunderbird yg sent foldernya sync dengan IMAP server.

Untuk outlook user perlu buat filter agar sent message dikirim ke
MDaemon server.

saya lakukan 3 bulan sebelum pengaktifan fitur ini), untuk melengkapi
data whitelist yg ada, bisa dilakukan sebagai berikut

di reject , sy sudah masukan ip mereka di whitelist tapi msih tetep di

Karena transaksinya belum selesai akibat connection time out.

Koneksi dari sender nampaknya lambat, kalau di server Anda ada
terinstall AV lain diluar security plus atau ada firewall coba sementara
didisable s/d mail tsb bisa masuk.

Outbound delivery mail adalah inisiatif dari sender host, jadi ya harus
nunggu.
Bisa dicoba MDaemon koneksi internet dari MDaemon diputus dulu beberapa
saat agar sender dipaksa kirimnya ke MX backup.

yg ga mau ke mx bckup apa kurang lama ya pa ?

Kitakan tidak tahu scheduler dari sender host, sehingga tidak bisa
memastikan kapan dia akan retry to send.

Coba konsultasikan dg ISP Anda.

Untuk sementara coba minta ke ISP untuk ubah preference level MX record
$ host nwl.co.id
nwl.co.id mail is handled by 20 mail.tachyon.net.id.
nwl.co.id mail is handled by 10 mail.nww.co.id.

set mail.nww.co.id dg preference level diatas 20.

Jika berhasil artinya koneksi antara kantor dg ISP kurang baik, jika
tetap problem artinya koneksi dari ISP Anda ke internet yg kurang baik.

a seting yg salah dengan plug-in ini ?



Outbreak protection mrpkan bagian (antispam) dari Security Plus,
koneksinya menggunakan http bukan dns.
Pastikan MDaemon server bisa browsing ke internet tanpa perlu
authentication ke proxy/firewall terlebih dahulu.


Sudah pa server bisa langsung konek ke internet, saya test kemana pa untuk 
mengetahui outbreak sy ga masalah.

ada 2 alasan pokok kenapa pilihannya spt itu :

1. Tidak perlu kompromi dg mail bervirus.
2. Jika di desinfect sering terjadi false positive jika message tsb
dideteksi oleh AV lain yg ada di desktop PC krn saat desinfect AV
biasanya akan menambahkan viral (penanda) bhw dia sdh melakukan
desinfect yg seringnya malah dideteksi sbg virus oleh AV yg menggunakan
socket layer (macam AV scan browser).


  
Sudah pa, seperti yang bapak sarankan, ternyata kalau saya pake theme 
selain lookout  bisa.

Check setting DNS tcp/ip setting NIC #1 yg ada di MDaemon server, coba
ganti ke DNS lain (kalau tahu).

  
say udah coba ganti, terus iseng-iseng ke firewal cari ip kaspersky.com 
ternyata ke blok

tapi anehnya dan saya tambah bingung pa, di mailserver

ping ke kaspersky.com ga bisa, dari PC saya atau yg lain bisa.
ping ke web lain luar atau iix bisa ping kemana saja

ada mekanisme pengeblokan dari kaspersky ?

seperti kaspesrky, mcaffe, avg ( sebgaian besar antivirus )

Dear Pa' Syafril

Ma'af kalau sudah pernah ditanyakan,saya sudah mencari di archive tapi masih
belum nyambung.  
Mau bertanya mengenai backup server : Tujuannya kami adalah ketika link
internet putus kami masih bisa mengakses mail server Yang sy colocation di
provider ( mx backup )dengan dialup misalnya, sekarang server utama Posisi
di kantor kami. bagaimana saya mensingkronkan antara server utama dgn server
backup. (user dan isimail) Karena lumayan banyak user yg memakai IMAP.

Sekarang saya ga pake remote lagi, taruh monitor di servernya aja langsung.

Mestinya diperlihatkan tab pane Processes dari task manager windows, 
krn disitulah terlihat utilisasi CPU/memory dll, urutkan cpu usage 
paling atas.
Juga perlihatkan capture utk pane performance untuk melihat history 
nya.

winvnc4.exe 70-90 apakah ini yg menyebabkan lambat ?

sepertinya begitu tadinya sy pake rdp nya windows tapi ko menu ghost di 
mdaemon hilang ( cmiiw ).


jadi sy install realVnc, sekarang sudah sy uninstall dan langsung ke 
servernya saja..

Problem besa  seseorang telah memasang program ini untuk full 
access bagi dia...

[mdaemon-l] Mail Loop Detected

Ada internal loop di LAN recipient shg incoming mail di bounce.

Perusahaan-2x yg besar umumnya mail dihandle oleh banyak mail server, baik
karena alasan lokasi, kapasitas server (exchange/notes lama ada
rekomendasi/batasan max. user per single server) shg mereka perlu split.
Banyaknya server ini terkadang membuat internal routing mereka menjadi 
complex

dan rawan thd loop (mail ping pong).

Syukurlah ada mekanisme loop detection shg mail loop tsb berhenti, jika 
tidak

maka akan makin lama lan mereka digunakan utk hal yg tidak perlu.


Jadi apa yang harus sy lakukan ni pa' atau bagaimana ? sedangkan mail yang 
akan dikirim lumayan penting.

Hubungi postmaster/administrator server tujuan, bilang ada problem di 
internal

server mereka, entah pakai fax atau tlp.
Sementara mail yg bounce di fax saja dulu ke tujuan kalau memang urgent.

Maksudnya yg pakai koneksi lease line 128K itu kantor pusat atau cabang ?
Koneksi keduanya menggunakan ISP yg sama ?
Kalau menggunakan webmail/worldclient relatif cepat ?


kantor pusat ke internet 128 kbps leasedline telkom
kantor cabang dinacess 128 kbps
kantar cabang2 konek ke speedy
sebagian pake imap jadi worldclient juga lama tapi jalan.



Itu DSN (delivery status notification) yg mengatakan mail yg ditujukan ke
daftar dibawah tdk bisa diteruskan ke user ybs, alasan tdk terkirim 
mestinya

ada dibawahnya (tp terpotong oleh Anda saat copy and paste).
Mengingat akhir-2x ini marak virus sobher, ada kemungkinan bukan Anda yg 
kirim

spam mail ke domain local.com.au tp PC orang yg terinfeksi virus sobher.


apakah ada efek ke mail server dan user nwl

Kalau remote connection jangan pakai IMAP, gunakan POP3 saja.


untuk yang speedy sih tetep pake pop3, cuman send-nya masih masalah pa'
numpuk di outbox client email. ada solusi ?

untuk cabang dinacees 128 kalau pake ms outlook suka macet tapi kalau pake 
o.express lumayan.




Demikian pula jika remote connection pilih default themes nya yg enteng,
misalkan Standard Themes bukan LookOut themes.
Ubah standard themes melalui setup | worldclient  options.

Kalau memang Anda tdk pernah hubungan dg domain itu, di block saja 
sementara

waktu, misalkan masukkan IP address sender ke ipscreen atau address
suppression (security | address suppresion/ipscreening/host screening); tp
krn Anda punya mx backup maka address supression mestinya lbh tepat utk
maksud ini (ingat sementara saja lho ya, nanti kalau kondisi normal saat
virus-2x tdk lagi berkeliaran di internet, hapus lagi isi address 
screening,

misalkan saja seminggu kemudian).

Speedy itukan asynchronous connection dimana outbound speednya cuma 64K,
kalau
yg outbound/kirim mail ramai-2x dan besar-2x tentu saja lambat.
Utk mrk ini akses lewat webmail pasti lbh cepat.



Kalau user disitu sdh banyak lbh baik installkan mdaemon dg license size
sejumlah local user disitu, lalu diatur koneksinya pakai master-satellite 
dg
demikian saat mereka kirim mail antar user di cabang tidak perlu 
jalan-2x

ke internet dulu sementara outbound mail di spool dulu di mdaemon local
server mereka.



di Sby cuma 4 user ( ada 1 client yang selalu macet ), Smg 2 user, Mdn 1
user



Naikkan time latency, barangkali bisa membantu (setup | primary domain |
timers) misalkan coba dulu menjadi 125 ms.



yang dinacess Tg.Priok-Cbt 15 client ( 1 client yang selalu macet )
sy udah coba malah 250 ( apa kebanyakan ? )

wah pa' khabar pa indra, tapi primacargo dah ngga ada complain nih, apa sy 
ngga dikasih tahu :)


iyah nih yang sy bingungin ini user sendiri pa yang ngadat, atau PCnya kali 
yang ngga bener :)

leased line telkomnya kali pak yang bermasalah hehehe...abis smtpnya
