Aktifkan SSL Negotiation Failure agar next delivery attempt akan pakai 
koneksi non STARTTLS.

Kalau iya berarti saya di "bohongi" tim support cbn dong hehe..

Dear Pak Syafril,

 

Kami mencoba kirim ke server cbn, namun gagal

Sebelumnya kami punya history selalu gagal kirim email kemereka karena "too
many recipient" terkena policy mereka,
setelah solve, sekarang errornya adalah "Socket connection closed by the
other side (how rude!)"

 

Apakah ini di close oleh server recipient karena time out, kehabisa resource
atau ada scanning antivirus?

Karena saya baca beberpa postingan di milis ini, kebanyakan karena 3
penyebab tersebut,

Bisa tolong di jelaskan pak ini errirnya kenapa?

sender.

Yang disampaikan itu semacam "routing log", semua mail itu sudah
diterima oleh server cbn.net.id.

Betul Pak, email-email yg tertolak tidak ada di log yang dikirimkan oleh

Saya melihat log SMTP di MD kami seperti  berikut dari user kami yang
mengirim ke : mgargi...@mscsorrento.com  ,  sepertinya email tersebut selalu
mencoba untuk transmite namun selalu terhenti di remote queue. Apakah
masalah ini berasal dari koneksi server penerima yang lambat atau firewall
mereka yang melakukan bloking  incoming mail dari kami Pak. Mohon
pencerahnya atas hal berikut dan solusi jalan keluarnya bagaimana Pak,
mengingat email tersebut kami rasa penting.

 Firewallnya sibuk sehingga tidak punya sumber daya untuk memproses mail
 lain Harus tunggu s.d. firewall itu idle.
 
 Mohon
 pencerahnya atas hal berikut dan solusi jalan keluarnya bagaimana Pak,
 mengingat email tersebut kami rasa penting.
 
 Kalau memang urgent, gunakan model komunikasi lain (fax, sms, socmed)
 tanyakan apa punya akun lain di free public mail (gmail.com,
 outlook.com dls)/dan kirim mail kesitu.

 Mestinya MDaemon akan retry to send dan saat koneksi normal akan terkirim.

Berarti kendala ada di koneksi server receiver yang lambat ya pak, memang dari 
log MDaemon kami selalu retry to send.

 apakah ini kaitannya dengan koneksi jaringan kami sehingga terdapat
 winsock error 10053.

Ya, koneksi ke server receiver lambat atau dia pakai antivirus realtime
scanning yang sedang sibuk.

Mail ditolak karena tidak diperbolehkan relay.

Dugaan saya sih karena domain indomarco.co.id juga terdaftar di server
mx-corp3.cbn.net.id (server itu sebagai MX backup) sehingga harus
authenticate kalau kirim mail ke server itu.
Singkatnya, ini problem setting di server mx-corp3.cbn.net.id.
Hubungi pengelola server mx-corp3.cbn.net.id untuk perbaikkan.

Server hotmail.com complaint karena server Anda terlalu banyak open
session connection (yang belum selesai).
MDaemon run dibelakang firewall ya sehingga transfer data ke internet
lambat dan session connection tidak juga selesai?

Batasi session connection per IP basis atau relay saja melalui
smarthost, karena PTR record IP 24.81.71.3 dobel akan berdampak kadang
bisa match dan saat lain tidak match (round robin effect)

Berbeda dengan A record atau MX record, khusus PTR record yang valid
harus unique, walau di DNS server (secara teknis) bisa dibuatkan lebih
dari satu.
Jadi sekalipun di MDaemon bisa hosting multiple domain di single IP,
akan tetapi khusus FQDN host semuanya harus punya FQDN yang seragam
(sama), bukan punya PTR record yang banyak.
Hal ini berkaitan cara DNS resolver, jika ada banyak PTR record maka
akan berlaku resolve secara bergantian (Round Robin) sehingga terkadang
PTR recordnya valid dan terkadang tidak valid.

Jika kita tidak bisa mendapatkan PTR record dari ISP, misalkan karena
pakai dynamic IP, maka gunakan RelayHost (smarthost) saat sending mail
ke internet.

Kecuali domain gmf.co.id binding ke IP yang lain, misalkan ke IP
124.81.71.4, maka boleh dibuatkan PTR record yang terpisah karena akan
punya FQDN host (mail server identity) yang terpisah/berbeda juga.

Receiver mengaktifkan greylisting, sehingga servernya (mungkin) sibuk.
Coba kirim mail lewat account Anda di gmail/yahoo ke
postmas...@atcgroup.com.tw minta agar server/domain Anda di whitelist

Tidak ada, mestinya retry to send akan membereskannya.

Kalau masih ada message di retry queue (periksa dari queue and stat
manager) mail yang ditujukan ke yahoo.com stuck disitu, pindahkan file
*.msg nya ke remote queue.

sebenarnya bukan masalah dns. tapi sepertinya ada semacam policy
dari yahoo yang memutuskan hubungan kalau ukuran mailnya besar.
memang tidak untuk semua host (klien).

saya sudah mencoba menghubungi support yahoo, diminta output
telnet. karena output telnet besar saya potong. diminta output
telnet lagi. ngeloop. dan mereka terus mengabaikan penjelasan
saya bahkan socket disconnected setelah CRLF.CRLF.

saya buka tiket 3x. dan mendapat tanggapan yang sama dengan di
atas. akhirnya saya capek :D

sarankan kepada koresponden untuk menggunakan selain yahoo. kalau
bisa, tentu saja :-)

untuk sementara waktu, coba arahkan email tujuan yahoo ke server
yang tidak bermasalah mengirimkan mail besar ke yahoo.

untuk direject lagi :D menghabiskan bandwidth yahoo.com dan tentu

Jadi sebenarnya orang punya pilihan.

Mestinya dengan banyaknya complaint yang masuk ke mereka dengan problem
yang mirip sudah harus antisipasi, tetapi nampaknya management yahoo

yang prioritasnya diatas masalah ini perlu dikerjakan terlebih dahulu.

Yang menutup socket itu router/firewallnya.
Sebenarnya ini khas problem koordinasi yang buruk antara bagian
infrastruktur dengan bagian yang mengurusi mail.
Bagian infrastruktur maunya size limit 1 MB kecuali dari sender tertentu
sementara bagian mail inginnya secara global bisa accept 31 MB.
Kalau mereka mau saling bicara mestinya bisa didapatkan solusi yang
memuaskan semua pihak.

Coba perlihatkan complete transaksinya.
Besar dugaan sih hal ini akibat salah design (network), Anda pakai firewall/NAT
dan semua client saat koneksi ke local server harus lewat firewall dulu.

Selamat pagi semua. Mohon bantuannya dong dengan script dibawah ini, kenapa
ada pesan 'socket connection closed by the other side (how rude!)'. Apakah
hal ini diakibatkan oleh adanya salah setting?. Apa yang harus saya lakukan
agar masalah tersebut tidak muncul lagi.

Bisa begitu, tp juga bisa ada penyebab lain misalkan saja LAN Anda sibuk (bad
design, banyak broadcast signal), UTP/NIC problem (kabel kendor atau rusak).

 Apa yang harus saya lakukan  agar masalah tersebut tidak muncul lagi.

kalau semua h/w normal, dan user ini hobbynya kirim/terima mail besar maka set
di email client yg digunakan timernya antara 2 - 5 menit (default installnya OE
cuma 30 detik).
