Error muncul setelah update TB  Version 68.6.0
Tetapi send email via webmail bisa.

Ini terjadi karena SSL/TLS yang digunakan sender host mail.chimei.com.tw tidak
match dengan SSL/TLS yang digunakan receiver mail.indokemika.co.id.

Versi OS yang digunakan oleh server mail.chimei.com.tw kemungkinan sudah
diupdate sehingga tidak lagi mendukung TLS 1.0 yang masih dipakai oleh server

Dihapus saja TLS 1.0 (dan SSLv3) dari daftar SSL algoritma Windows yang
terinstall MDaemon, bisa pakai IISCrypto

Ini artinya recipient e...@dnp.co.id merupakan mailing list yang di set private
(only member can post to the list) sehingga mail dari sender ditolak.
Bisa diubah setting milis e...@dnp.co.id agar non-private (anyone can post to

list) atau tambahkan member domain (internal) lain sebagai post only member.

Dynamic Screening terjadi error "Unable to log on to the Dynamic Screening
Service . The System can not find the file specified." Server sudah kami
restart tetapi masih error nya.  Versi Mdeamon V 18.0.2

Relayhost server mxin3.dnetsurabaya.id ditolak kirim ke back end server
(server dimana terdaftar user mailbox).
Ini problem internal.

DSN (Delivery Status Notification)  message adalah mail yang menginformasikan 
status mail delivery.
Umumnya internet mail server hanya punya 1 macam y.i DSN of failure, sementara 
di MDaemon ada 3 macam ; DSN of delay, DSN of Failure dan DSN of Success.

Semua DSN digenerate oleh server sender  dan ditujukan ke original sender 
(return-path/From .
Di MDaemon DSN akan disalibkan ke postmaster account alias.

Karena Anda pakai smarthost untuk kirim mail dan multipop untuk terima mail 
maka postmaster tidak terima salinan DSN, hanya original sender yang terima.

Jadi minta ke user yang terima DSN of failure message tadi untuk memforward as 
attachment melalui webmail.
Kalau mail archival diaktifkan, bisa juga dicari dari sana.

Kalau begitu sabar saja menunggu, saat message rate limit yahoo sudah
menurun nanti akan bisa lagi kirim mail ke yahoo.
Umumnya yahoo akan meninjau ulang rate limit terhadap sender IP yang
mengirim mail dari domain yang mengaktfikan DKIM (Yahoo adalah pencetus
DKIM).
Dengan perkataan lain, aktifkan DKIM agar kirim mail ke yahoo bypass
rate limit mereka.

Tidak apa-2x sih melakukan autoforward ke yahoo dengan maksud untuk
mendapatkan backup mail ke akun yang unlimited quota.
Masalah quota ini menjadi pertimbangan utama dibanding akun di free
public mail lain misalkan gmail.com, outlook.com atau icloud.com.
Gmail.com, icloud.com punya problematik lain, setelah mailbox penuh akan
ditolak dengan temporary error (4xx) yang membuat sender host keep retry
yang membuat retry queue menumpuk.

Tetapi mungkin mmg dikarenakan byk user kami yg forwarded email perusahaan 
mereka ke email yahoo mereka. Saya akan sedikit tertibkan mengenai aturan 
forwarded.

Outlook mail family awalnya tidak mendukung smtpauthentication, hanya
mendukung pop before smtp.
Outlook terbaru (mulai 2007) sudah mendukung smtpauthentication, bahkan
yang terkini (2013 keatas) mendukung smtp/tls.
Akan tetapi fitur pop before smtp tetap (tidak dihilangkan), sehingga
saat kirim mail akan otomatis check dulu ke POP3 server.
Dengan perkataan lain, saat send/receive mail outlook akan melakukan
check pop dan smtp sekaligus, hanya saja di pop3 tidak melakukan akses mail.
Sebaliknya saat check mail outlook akan melakukan check smtp, walau
tidak mengirim mail.
Hal ini bisa diperiksa silang/terlihat di smtp-in log dan pop3 log.

Dengan demikian problem koneksi ke POP3 (error 0x80042108) akan
menimbulkan error lanjutan (error 0x80042109).

Kalau remkomendasi microsoft diatas masih tidak bisa mengatasi masalah,
maka reinstall outlook atau windows system restore.

Apa memang semua user tidak mengaktifkan security type TLS?

MD 18.0.x standarnya akan mengaktifkan SSL/TLS.
Kalau belum pakai SSL Certificate Authority maka non aktifkan keharusan pakai 
TLS di MSA port.

Hal itu terjadi karena user pakai microsoft outlook familiy dan setting
outgoing server port belum diubah ke tcp 587 (MSA port, SMTP Submission
port).
MSA port hanya menerima authentication connection, jadi
smtpauthentication harus aktif.

Tidak ada yang khusus untuk W2K8, hanya perlu windows update selalu
dilakukan.
W2K8 ada masalah classic dengan Long Name Path (long folder name dan
file name) kalau belum/tidak diupdate, sehingga beberapa windows
command line tidak berjalan semestinya.
W2K8 masih pakai dos shell lama belum pakai Windows Powershell sebagai
default.

Aktifkan Mail Archive dan message pruning.
Message yang aktif di mailbox cukupkan 30 - 60 hari, sisanya biarkan di

bb.ptbmi.com dimanapun mereka berada serta pakai IMAP bukan pakai POP3.
Pastikan intranet DNS aktif.

Akan lebih baik lagi jika di authoritative DNS dibuatkan DNS A record

Sementara belum diubah oleh antispamcloud.com bisa gunakan smarthost
milik ISP (mybati.com).

Smart host: smtp.mybati.com

atau tanyakan ke ISP apa nama host untuk smarthost yang bisa digunakan
oleh server mail.dima.co.id

Tolakkan ini dilakukan oleh smarthost smtp.antispamcloud.com yang gagal
melakukan smtpcallout ke server mail.dima.co.id.

authentication untuk client allow relay menggunakan smtp submission dan

MD 18.x adalah all in one built, semua plugin akan terinstall hanya saja
tidak otomatis aktif jika licensenya tidak ada.
Kalau downgrade ke versi dibawah itu maka harus install ulang pluginnya.

Singkatnya setelah downgrade ke 17.5.3 maka harus install ulang
securityplus, outlook connector (jika ada).

MD 18.0 ada bug perihal smtp/tls required di MSA port sekalipun STARTTLS
disable.

Yang menolak adalah smarthost smtp.antispamcloud.com karena sender
dimalpg.a...@dima.co.id dianggap invalid, tidak terdaftar (?).
Konsultasikan dengan pengelola smarthost antispamcloud.com.

Kalau kirimnya lewat server yang sama 180.250.116.50 pasti ditolak
juga dengan error yang sama.
Karena IP 180.250.116.50 memang tidak punya PTR record (identitas IP).
Kelihatannya itu IP baru yang belum sempat didaftar di DNS server
telkom.net.id

Edit file \\mdaemon\worldclient\domains.ini, cari isian

SMTPhost= 

hapus (kosongkan) isian xxx, setelah itu coba lagi.

Atau, kalau masih belum berhasil lakukan sbb:

- stop MDaemon service.
- rename folder \\mdaemon\worldclient menjadi \\mdaemon\worldclient.old
- refresh install MDaemon dengan versi yang sama.

saat mengirim email muncul " pesen Ada kesalahan saat kirim pesan!  451 smtp 
server (MP), please try again later " & tidak bisa kirim email, tapi jika pakai 
aplikasi outlook dll bisa kirim, saya menggunakan MD 16.0.2.

Bukan itu sumber masalahnya, harus cari tahu kenapa IP itu masuk blacklist
dengan memeriksa MDaemon notification message ke postmaster account alias.

Kalau memang akun Anda bukan alias dari postmaster tetapi di set sebagai Global
Administrator aktifkan notification ke global admin.

Sejak kemarin sampai hari ini, user saya tidak bisa akses ke email server
baik lewat outlook maupun webmail.

Kalau dari outlook muncul error message :

Ada error saat handshaking STARTTLS.

error 0x80090327 artinya SEC_E_CERT_UNKNOWN atau TLS1_ALERT_BAD_CERTIFICATE.

Apakah sudah update Windows OS?
Kalau belum maka di whitelist saja sender host seperti yahoo.com dulu.

Umumnya tidak ada masalah untuk terima/kirim mail dari/ke internet
karena umumnya mail server akan otomatis tidak menggunakan koneksi TLS
jika receiver/sender tidak mengaktifkan SSL TLS.
Kecuali mail sender itu sengaja mengharuskan (hanya mau berhubungan)
dengan server lain yang mengaktifkan SSL/TLS seperti beberapa perusahaan
jasa keuangan (Bank, Asuransi) tetapi itu kasus jarang.

Untuk koneksi SSL dari client juga bisa di non aktifkan di email client
agar pakai koneksi non-SSL (tcp port 993, 995, 465) atau TLS (tcp port
25, 587, 110, 143).

dimungkinkan untuk update SSL Library (SSL/TLS adalah tanggung jawab OS

Kelihatanya akun  i...@atanaya.com kena hijack.

Sudah benar kalau passwordnya diganti dengan strong password (kombinasi huruf
besar, huruf kecil dan angka/simbol minimum 6 digit), akan tetapi hal itu tidak
akan menghentikan mail yang sudah ada di remote dan retry queue.
Lebih baik ubah status akun itu menjadi "frozen" untuk sementara waktu agar
semua spam mail yang sudah terlanjur di remote/rety queue dipindahkan ke holding
queue.

setelah remote/rety queue kosong dari mail From , barulah akun
itu diubah statusnya menjadi normal kembali.
