I've written you up for October.

Also, November 2 is smack in the middle of the Melbourne Cup Weekend.
Anyone for or against moving the MPUG session back one week?

Either way, yes, if it's a full length talk, better to start filling in
the pipeline.

Thanks a lot!

Hi, Andrew,

The What's New talk is just a placeholder/filler. I have some
interesting content (two book reviews), but that can wait until October.

I'll write you up as the first short talk.

Cheers,

important than forwards compatibility and show you how it's possible
to run Python 2.x code under Python 3.x with the help of a custom

Hi all,

Thanks for doing this roundup, Javier!

I'd like to volunteer to give this talk:

- "Towards solving the Python 2/3 split with the `past` package"

I'll explain how I've discovered that backwards compatibility is more important
than forwards compatibility and show you how it's possible to run Python 2.x
code under Python 3.x with the help of a custom codec.

Cheers,
Ed
