Re: [mer-general] Re: Nemo social images
Hi, They look cool, but I think they can be better. If you look at any device manufacturer's photos, they always show the screen of the device clearly and from a right angle, and there is no glare nor shadows. If they have multiple devices, at least one is shown this way. It could go to the photos section of a social network. Either under generic or Run on Hardware albums. If you won't boo this photo, it'd need some airbrushing (making Asus look younger). Otherwise I'd also experiment with camera angles and lighting. As well as getting rid of all fingerprints :) (alcohol spray and wipes) At any time you are welcome to extend a helping hand if you're good in photo tweaking. Cheers, Simonas -- -Sivan

Thanks fellows! Yup, something like this, though the whole screen should be crispy (where's my DSLR camera?:) http://www.ninetechblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Nokia-N9-sailfish.jpg (don't get baffled by the name of the picture ;)) The pic above might be computer generated though (as they do on http://swipe.nokia.com/ video presentation) Cheers, Simonas On 20 December 2012 07:01, cristi.magheru...@gmail.com wrote: Hi, They look cool, but I think they can be better. Re: [mer-general] Re: Nemo social images
I think the trick is to have enough ambient light so you don't have to use the flash, also to have the phone standing so that the shadow(if any) is hidden behind the phone. I think that the shadow is excellent effect. My opinion this is served better with a non corporate style pic. And Simonas solo N9 was superb in my humble taste :-) On Dec 20, 2012 11:01 AM, cristi.magheru...@gmail.com wrote: Hi, They look cool, but I think they can be better. Re: [mer-general] Re: Nemo social images
I like the setting of the picture, but the image quality is what concerns me. The pic is blurry and has high amount of noise. The colors aren't that good either. I myself have superb optics to take professional looking pics. What I don't have is a fancy N9, just my ol' scratchy N900 :( -Jussi On Thu, 2012-12-20 at 19:08 +0200, Sivan Green wrote: I think that the shadow is excellent effect.
