Twin trailers is a special license endorsement, isn't it?
I've towed around 3300-3500 unbraked behind a W163 without issue, but I drive
conservatively and didn't have to perform any emergency maneuvers those two
days.
3500 is under the W163 limit of 5k, and less than 10% over limit for the many
1500kg with brakes cars.

Actually, its Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) is 65,000 lbs.
I have towing for that already covered. :-)

I'm looking for something to tow our utility trailer, if I will not

Delo 400 has long been a high end conventional oil that blurs the line between
conventional and synthetic. I never knew why they didn't or couldn't call it a
blend.
I've started using 0W40 euro style synthetics in just about everything. The
S420 has 10W40 in it but I think I'll switch to 0W40.
The Saturn seemed to lose a little MPG going from 5W30 Quaker State syn to
0W40, maybe I should have stuck to xW30 in that. Oh well, hope to sell the
Saturn and start driving a Cruze full time before I have to change the Saturn
oil next month. No more free GM synthetic oil changes in either Cruze, I'll
decide whether to run 5W30 or 0W20 and buy a case of Amsoil Signature Series.

Synthetic blends are a total waste of money. Either buy synthetic or buy Dino.
If you are going to be going by FSS for oil changes in the e300 you need to be
using full synthetic. Otherwise use Dino and change at a normal 5k internal.

[MBZ] Florence's price tag

2018-11-01 Thread Andrew Strasfogel via Mercedes
Officials: Damage from storm in N.C. at $17BPublished: Thursday, November
1, 2018

State officials now say the damage in North Carolina from Hurricane
Florence has approached $17 billion, an increase from a previous estimate.

The Office of State Budget and Management said in a news release the latest
figure is based on new data from the state Department of Insurance. The
previous figure of $13 billion was based on estimates and projections.

A news release from Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper's office said damage from
Florence is historic compared with previous storms in North Carolina.
Hurricane Matthew in 2016 caused $4.8 billion in damages. When adjusted for
inflation, 1999's Hurricane Floyd caused between $7 billion and $9.4
billion in damages. That means Florence has caused more damage than Matthew
and Floyd combined.

Officials say the damage estimate for Florence may continue to change.
