Wrong forum.  I moderated the MBCA forum after Marshall Booth passed.  I don't 
remember all the details now, but at some point all his posts were purged.   
MBCA then switched over to some terrible software that made the forums very 
awful to use.  There was one guy on the board who asked me to keep moderating, 
but the traffic was way down.

Someone had a copy of the old forum and restored it with all Marshall's posts, 
at a different site not under MBCA, but all the traffic was over at peach parts 
and benz world, so it died.

The time has come to move my 1990 560SEL napmobile on.  Rough cosmetic
condition, was guardrailed.  (Have matching front fender and front door, 
though.)
I haven't been driving it, and the last time I went to move it the starter 
would not engage.
(Whir  Didn't respond to BFH.)  Last thing I want to do is to have to 
put a new
starter in it.  Advice?  My wife says 'donate' it.  I'd rather sell it for what 
it's worth.
Any suggestions?  I've had the car since 2009.

pressure regulator, bought new starter, didnt put on cause it didnt need 
it was a connection problem! Have done a ton to it and just cant get it 
to fire off! It was my first diesel i have ever messed with other than a 
tractor! Gas vehicles im good at diesels not so good! Has metal storage 
racks in it and has ac for back and ac for up front ! Both worked great 
when i drove it home! Its throwing the codes in the picture now! It has 
to be something stupid simple! Will trade for a gas truck or van to work 
out of, or may trade for boat, fourwheeler or! Possibly something that 
needs work also! Long as its gas and not diesel! Other than a diesel 
tractor! We bought it for $4500 and have $7000 total in it now! Will 
take $3000 obo!Trades Or Will pay $500 only if you can get it running 
for me!

There you go.  It's a 2500, though.  The diesel and the V10 were only available

the heavier two models.  That looks a bit rough inside, but for a _utility_ 
truck, what
do you want?  Has 4wd and everything.  Small cab, which would be an issue for
some uses, and a boon for others.  (Woods truck.)  That particular truck is 
configured
exactly like the Chevy I let go, and would be of great interest if I didn't 
already have
my dad's old Ford diesel, configured ditto, and the V10, configured as my wife 
prefers.

 Sadly grams is no longer with us, my aunt and uncle have owned the house for 
awhile now but I still think of it has her house.
Its only a 5 mile commute and I was thinking that working from a place with 
running water would be desirable. I haven't checked to see if internet is 
available at the new farmhouse, I couldn't remember the address.
In the heat of the summer the house in town is nice, built in 1850 something it 
changes temperature slowly. Leave the windows open at night and close them 
during the heat of the day. Worst case I could get a window air conditioner.

There's a low orbit satellite system coming online, aimed at people in 
higher latitudes who CANNOT get high speed internet at any price.
Unless you want the opportunity to spend time with grams, it would 
probably be preferable to commuting to town every day.

playing. This year I'll do the same for the NBA, which might be harder.
To play my NFL game, it mostly means turning the radio off in the car 
for a week to avoid DJs talking about football while I'm trying to 
drive. But they'll be talking about the NBA finals for more than a week, 
won't they?
