Yes, go ahead and run gas in your diesel. After one tank you will never have to buy fuel for that car again. The days of the $29.95, one color enamel job is long gone. The EPA rules on VOC's have made the price of paint per gallon rocket into the $500 per gallon range for good quality paint, plus additives, plus thinners, hardeners, plus, plus.. The $895 quote is likely now their "no frills paint job" price. I already have a Craftsman roll-around box (top and bottom) that is ready to fill. I split up stuff I had doubles of at the Florida ranch and brought them out here, but it’s pretty hit or miss of what’s here, especially with sockets, ratchets and drivers. Nice to get some more ratcheting combination wrenches, too. I’m thinking I’ll take a swing at the motor mounts tomorrow. [MBZ] Harbor Fright Tools
So I’m in Flagstaff and going through my tools this morning in preparation to make sure I have everything I need to do the motor mounts on the ML350. I realized that I can try to build up my tool collection here in a “hit or miss” approach”, but it’s going to be ugly and probably require a lot of trips to HF. So I’m looking through their coupons for the week and see on for $50 off of a “master technician’s" tool set: https://www.harborfreight.com/master-technician-tool-set-428-pc-58154.html I bought it and some organizer things for my tool box. Not bad for $350. Damned near blew out my back loading the thing in the ML. I’m pleasantly surprised with this as I unpack it and get things organized. The sockets and drivers seem pretty substantial, the plating is solid, and the other goodies included with it are pretty good quality. This will fill a substantial void in my tool collection and make me a lot more confident in taking on work and not worrying if I need to run out and grab a tool I don’t have… -D ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
