The leather in these didn’t hold up well, they’re probably thrashed. Otherwise, 
that’s a pretty good deal. Doesn’t have the tow package, but that’s $200 to 
retrofit and an hour’s worth of work.

I watch some of his rant vids occasionally and they seem kinda pointless but 
maybe there’s an audience for it (not me).  I also get the impression he is 
somewhat autistic which might account for his focus on minutiae around some of 
the issues that get him worked up. That’s not negatively judgmental in any way, 
it can be very useful in some ways and clearly might be as a basis for his 
obsessive knowledge of these cars which is a beneficial thing.

Pierre is a good guy and a friend of many years. While I didn’t watch the whole 
video, what I saw of it was good, and it’s the kind of content he needs to keep 
producing if he wants his YT channel to be successful. I know I was concerned 
of late as were many others that it had started to become a place for him to 
rant over numerous concerns, which was really off putting to a lot of viewers. 
This is a far better approach, and while a bit lengthy, very appealing to those 
who like the older models and want to know more about them.

Bless his heart, he believes that every old Mercedes should be saved, and while 
that’s a bit unrealistic it’s great to have that attitude about things. He’s 
likely forgotten more than any other Mercedes tech has known, and is one of the 
few people I would trust my cars to.
