2023-05-07 Thread dan penoff.com via Mercedes
Could have been, I don’t recall. I avoided it like the plague, but I wasn’t
even around during the time she had it other than for occasional visits. My
brother would take care of it when necessary, but the dealer was pretty much
right down the street from her house, so it went there for everything.

I just recall my brother making the rounds of parts places in town trying to
find a battery for it. Apparently, the battery was a weird group number/size
that no one carrier. I think he ended up just going to the dealer and getting
one.

When she was trying to get rid of it I asked my boys if either of them were
interested. When I told them what it was I got a very definite “NO!”

The glow light is not coming on so it’s almost certainly a glow issue.

Like when my Mom stopped driving and she couldn’t give away the little Daiwoo
she had with 5k miles on the clock (it was at least 5 years old, if I recall
correctly.)

Everyone knew she drove like a bat out of Heck and thrashed that car to its
limits. Not to mention none of the grandkids wanted to be seen in or driving a
Daiwoo. She offered it to me for one of my boys to drive but I was able to
dodge that bullet by suggesting that the transport costs to ship it weren’t
worth it.

2023-05-07 Thread Allan Streib via Mercedes
