[MBZ] I bought an EV
So, folks, I drove over to Bluffton SC and bought an EV and carried it back to tybee on my rollback. Actually it’s a Ryobi zero turn 30 inch cut LiH battery powered lawnmower. It is pretty odd … it runs and steers with a right hand joystick and the only conventional control is a foot brake. I’ll take it off the truck tomorrow …. I think they cost $3k and this one is like new with tags … guy said he to it discounted from Home Depot . I paid $2k and figure if it sucks I can probably sell it on. Mercedes content … I’d have moved it in the sprinter but I have a press in it . I drove up to Oakton VA last week and moved a couple of presses for a bunch of $$. I have to take them to Summerville, sc but I’ll do it next week. The rusty sprinter with 390,xxx miles performed flawlessly and I think I got about 20 mpg dragging a trailer all the way and with 2500 lbs of presses coming home .
