I would say that there's still enough 124s out there with that engine that
I'd avoid that one. Dinking with an IP that really needs no dinking, in order
to make it idle better?

Things can get rather expensive on a neglected 60x rather quickly.

I would NOT suggest buying a car that has had the injection pump 
adjusted. Maybe the ALDA tweaked, but NOTHING else. The pumps should 
last about as long as the engine, should NOT need adjustment and there 
are VERY few shops capable of adjusting the pump properly (when properly 
adjusted it runs fine at idle AND on the highway ;-)!
