Re: [MBZ] 240D prices
Randy said no intention of re-selling it. I hope to drive it every summer for the next 20 years and to improve it along the way so that it is even better then than it is now. How's that for a plan? Randy that is a great plan. When people are paying $18 to $100,000 for cars today, the price you paid for your MB is fine. If you do the summer thing she should last fine. A 79? WOW, never knew Acura made a 79. Re: [MBZ] 240D prices
Fellow at the gym just blew that in US$ for an 83 240D in really nice shape. About the only thing wrong was the chrome pealing off the bundts. Really low miles around 60k, stick, black paint shiny as new, and plastic about the same. Seats are near new, and must have had a wee bitty woman driver On Friday, December 16, 2005, at 11:24 AM, R A Bennell wrote: I paid $6,500 Cdn for a 76 300D in July of this year. Re: [MBZ] 240D prices (R A Bennell)
And I've got a '75 I wouldn't even SELL for $6500, CDN or otherwise. It only shows 27K on the odometer--which is only 5 digits anyway but the condition of the car is truely representative of those figures. I just know better though because things like that just don't ever happen to me. Still, if I had to sell one of my MBz's for some reason, my 380SL chickmagnet would go down the road before that one would. How's that for being bullheaded?
