Re: [MBZ] 300D 2.5 no glow/no start
I just pulled the cover off the gp relay and I don’t see a strip fuse. The pictures on line of the correct part all show a fuse strip. What’s going on here? Re: [MBZ] 300D 2.5 no glow/no start
The 2.5 relay does not have a strip fuse like the older ones. You either had some dead plugs, or the relay is read. Simple test to test the plugs to see if they are bad Sent from my iPhone > On May 5, 2023, at 9:38 PM, Dimitri Seretakis via Mercedes > wrote: > > So after some more research, I think I may have replaced another strip fuse- > one perhaps for the hvac. Re: [MBZ] 300D 2.5 no glow/no start
So after some more research, I think I may have replaced another strip fuse- one perhaps for the hvac. It sits in a little box on the left strut tower and I think it’s 30 amps. That’s what I bought from advance auto (30 amps). I believe the glow plug relay strip fuse is located in the glow plug relay and is 80 amps. Once I check the fuse in the gp relay and determine (possibly) it to be bad, would there be any harm in using a 30 amp fuse temporarily? Worst case it will just fail prematurely?
