I didn't read the original ad, but providing the tin worm has been kept at bay, and the car given reasonable car, amazing just how many miles you can rack up on some 911 engines. SCs, and 3.2s will go a very long way. Even with high mileage, they often have lots left in they. They are the 240Ds of Porsches in ways. ;-) Ed 300E 2009/10/18 Mitch Haley m...@voyager.net E M wrote: It's been deleted. ...by author. He called again and was bitching about him being first while I was test driving the car. Should have let him have it. The A/C got very weak two months later. I topped it off, and it failed again in Florida after another couple of months. jabba wrote: anything that is a real deal on craigs goes in minutes. if you need confirmation from here, you will never get one of these bargains Yep - my son picked up an airhead a month ago, had a friend come along since friend has a pickup truck to pick it up. His commitment to buy was immediate even thought he bike could have been a real dog - it really turned out to be a beautiful bike. 2 days later, it was sold to the friend with pickup, as friend had been wanting exact same bike. Slow action on this sale would have meant friend would not have gotten his long sought after bike. Ya gotta know what you are looking for, and even then, like this 911 - it may be rust city or whatever. mao ___ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

presume ac on any old car won't work long term, even if it blows ice cold. if long term working ac makes or breaks the deal, pass you wouldn't want the targa unless you knew the AC would be good for more than a few months? and how could asking the list do anything about the future performance of the AC? Hi Mitch - I'd bet it's either a scam or something's wrong he'll not talking about. He could ask 2 or 3 times that much and still be significantly below asking prices. Why would someone throw away $2500-$5000? Something's missing from this.. Mint? Doubt it. Maybe he left a 0 off? Of course, if you're close you could buy it and flip it. ;-) (if it's the real deal) Later - LarryT 74 911 Does your business accept or need to accept V/MC/AE/Dis?
