Re: [MBZ] ABS question again and flushing diffs

2008-02-29 Thread Hendrik & Fay
I know of two types, my 210 has a red top and the 124 has a black top.
On the red one the fuse slides in sideways and on the black one the fuse
goes in vertical.

It's very clever. That plastic fuse holder is in two pieces,
and locks the cover onto the relay body. It slips apart, like
one of those wooden cube interlocking puzzles.

Re: [MBZ] ABS question again and flushing diffs

2008-02-28 Thread Hendrik & Fay
Yessum boss I cleaned dem rings good.
I am not ruling out voltage problems, at the moment the ABS light is off
for the first 5k's or so and then comes on. Perhaps the OVP is having
issues, I tried to pull it apart for a resolder but could not figure out
how. I have seen pictures of them pulled apart. From my understanding if
a sensor is bad then the light will come on after a few meter once speed
is above a certain point.

Is it possible/advisable to flush the diff with something like ATF or am
I best off to just put in new gear oil?

Hendrik
who needs a can of electrical gremlin spray, which one is recommended or
is it better to set gremlin traps around the car
