I have one from a old Hirschmann antenna (the collar) - you're welcome
to it if you think it'll fit.  It probably came off a W108 or W123
MB...   Has been laying around for years doing nothing (like a
teenager)  ;-)   It's chrome with a H on one side - it was just a plain
AM/FM antenna - nothing fancy like phone stuff - the ID is approx. 3/8"

Is the antenna rocker switch on (usually) upper center console in "UP" 
position?  Is antenna grnd OK?  If so, try 12V to motor.

Right after I got some work done on the front of the car (engine compartment) I 
drove off and the antenna wouldn’t go up or down.  I checked all the fuses and 
looked inside the antenna and all appears well, Antenna will go up and down
