When was the last time you saw someone selling an old car admit that the A/C is just plain broken, instead of "needs a charge"? I like that the stereo, though not original, is a newer Becker rather than a Sony or some such with lots of cheesy light-up graphics and fiddly little buttons. Classy. The spelling and grammar errors are consistent with a particular group of non-native speakers of English. I wouldn't be too hard on him. I pretty much agre with what you wrote. I was thinking of Iranian-English but not certain of this - what's your interpretation? The car is rust-free and v. clean but when you factor in the "little things" involved in making it mechanically perfect and cosmetically "concours" I figure a fair price would be somewhere in the range of $15 to $20 K. Biggest wildcard holding back the bidding might be the lack of a sunroof, although having PW makes that less of a necessity. They are useful for quicker venting of heated air from a car that has been sitting in the sun but otherwise are more of a PIA due to clogged drains, rust, and misalignment problems.
