Thanks Dan. The,anodized aluminum on the window trim on my 300CD is not pretty. Sticks out so much on the coupe. No, it's not, as long as you fabricate the tool. I made mine out of a piece of scrap oak and it worked just fine. A bit frightening when brandishing a big hammer with a piece of oak right next to a freshly painted finish. That being said there are those out there who might not be inclined to do this, or unable to find the diagram of the tool in the W123 CB manual. The black rubber part is especially nasty, as if it gets the least bit distorted while handling it the metal core won't grip the anodized aluminum in the rain gutter. I'm talking about the trim on a W123 wagon. Tough stuff to work with. I'll get more pics together, body is in great condition, very very little rust, nothing on the underside or wheel wells, I think it may have been resprayed in the 80s, clearcoat seems to have disappeared on one of the doors, but with a good wax you can't tell ;) -- I think the color is Calendonia As mentioned trim is oxidized, interior is almost mint, but I had to replace a driver seat which was an 8hr pain in the ass, and needs to be re-tracked. She's a real looker from 5ft 214k miles, I'm having belt issues regularly.
