[MBZ] I love people

2007-01-20 Thread Zoltan Finks

Just had the pleasure a while ago of discovering that someone has chosen to
vandalize my car by placing what appears to be a large piece of human feces
on my cloth driver's seat.

Shouldn't surrprise me. This neighborhood is just following the natural
progression that most areas experience: decline brought about by human
filth. If you have a nice neighborhood, don't worry, you'll get over it.

CRAP! I hope that you discovered it either by smell or by sight before you
actually dropped your butt into the seat. YUCK! Your 240D has MBTex, so
this must have been another chapter of your Saab story?

In the words of Sam Elliot in Road House: "Exactly right".

Also was somewhat easy to lift (sort of pry) off the seat, as the temp. here
is about 2 below right now. Unfortunately, they put some sort of liquid on
the seat as well. Not sure what it is, but it is white-ish, at least in its
frozen state.

Yeah, no, not kidding.

I poured rubbing alcohol on all affected areas including where unknown
liquid had splattered. Used a small camping shovel to gently scrape the seat
off.

I've got no enemies, and in fact don't know many folks around here except on
an acquaintance level. Figure it was just a prank of convenience. That, or
someone with a beef with the PO of my car (he does have enemies).

No, I haven't been locking my doors - my wife has me trying to be less
suspicious of people and trying to see the good out there. It's an old car
with nothing inside worth stealing.

Didn't factor in the possibility of someone wanting to simply vandalize for
giggles. Actually I think it may be that some druggies were sitting around
and one of them came out of the bathroom and said, dude, you have to come
look at this! And the impressiveness of the specimen sparked the idea for a
drive by logging.

Maybe a neighbor who once had a nice cat for a pet?

Maybe. Cat ownership does tend to make people act in a bizarre fashion.

Oop, you're right. We don't own cats - they allow us to share our lives with
