Re: [MBZ] MBCA show and W140 with wing
I had in a Dodge Avenger in Texas a couple weeks ago that had a terrible transmission. It only had 1400 miles so we'd hope that its not broken... The torque converter would stay locked down to ~25mph at which point it would unlock with a thump and a jolt. The first time it did it I thought the transmission had gone. It was also super sloppy, stomp on the gas and there was a big lag before the engine did anything, then a big lag before the transmission did anything. Final complaint, it seemed like it had very long legs, the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts were huge jumps at which point it felt like the engine had zero power. Once the rpms built the engine seemed decent but it would drop down way too far between shifts. -Curt Date: Mon, 1 Aug 2011 08:34:17 -0500 From: Donald Snook dsn...@mtsqh.com To: Mercedes@okiebenz.com Mercedes@okiebenz.com Subject: Re: [MBZ] MBCA show and W140 with wing Message-ID: a0121bfa28702c4fa69fc5d9ceb56d080156fca6e...@mtsqhexc2.mtsqh.com Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Alex wrote: The Challenger?
