Snow? Better not, it just hailed here and that was with no warning, no 
preceding thunder, nada.  I've never experienced that.
Forecast gets us close to freezing at 35 this weekend, but not bad. 
From now till Tuesday, Saturday is the only day with a chance for no rain.

From what I have read, carb cleaner.

There is a similar pipe on later model M119 engines that is difficult to 
access, and the consensus there seems to be the use of a wire with something on 
it to scrub and carb cleaner.

Fortunately, the earlier M119 models like mine have the EGR right up front 
where you can get to it.

I wonder if this is a job for a boresnake, maybe with a little oven cleaner if 
it doesn't dissolve the boresnake.

Get out your Hoppes cleaning kit select an appropriate bore brush, 
tie a string to one end, put a fishing weight on the other, drop the 
weight through the tube and pull the brush through, accompanied with 
carb cleaner.




From what I have read, carb cleaner.

There is a similar pipe on later model M119 engines that is 
difficult to access, and the consensus there seems to be the use of 
a wire with something on it to scrub and carb cleaner.


Fortunately, the earlier M119 models like mine have the EGR right up 
front where you can get to it.
