Many places to try. Mixed results overall. I forgot rockauto.com As with autohausaz and other places, you have to be careful with what you order from crockauto. Aside from MBnorthlake, there are quite a few other dealers advertising in the Star. Dealers who want to sell parts are a pretty good source. Most are East coast and West coast. You should be able to find a west coast stealer who will give you good discounts. Some year I want to go through the Star and make a list of discounting dealers. Pre-Q, I had a stealer near Peoria (Pekin) who gave MBCA members good discounts. But it was sold, and the knowledge base was fired, so I quit buying there. typical multi-location big stealer tactics. The pekin stealer had been there from the Studebaker days, as had Bicklehaupt motors in Clinton. Alas, both are gone, as is the knowledge and discounts. I've found that generally the older dealers have better knowledge of old cars and offer better discounts. Who is the oldest/older stealers in the Seattle area? Unfortunately, the factory suits want new stealers in expensive new buildings. All that has to be paid for. Same with BMW. The best BMW (2 wheel) dealer I ever came across was in an old shed, and they drove dump trucks to supplement the income. It was located in the future birthplace of Capt. Strange did you contact them about that? The front ones that I have came prepared for that just like the originals. The rear of course don't have them since the 123 doesn't have sensors there. Any one know if there is a caliper that will fit the rear and be able to have the wear sensors? I've always wanted to put some on the back of the TD. Walt Lasher1992 300SD/S350W140Seattle Boy, you _have_ been out of touch. *smiles* This is a topic as volatile as an oil thread! My summary - there isn't. Rusty is gone (took a job with WorldPac). And to quote Curly - before he was Curly - "we are on our own". The industry is shifting to far east manufacturing - even for the formerly good brands. Then there is the low-price junk like URO that claim to be a replacement but match only if you are wearing dark sunglasses, stand at least 20ft away, at midnight on a moonless night. Autohause, RockAuto, FLAPS with a WorldPac account are all places you can get a part - but figuring out what _is_ a good part is now up to each of us. Like Curly said. Some seem to think Gary Hurst is suitable supplier. I don't. I choose NOT to take my business to someone who behaves as he does.
