Anyone have the special keys for releasing the radio in my '95 E300?
FSM calls them 'removal plates' special tool 000 833 03 61.  Rusty - can
you get these and what price?

Sadly, my car got water inside while the windshield was out, and now the
radio is dead.  I'm hoping that it is the 3 amp fuse on the back of the
radio.

If that is a standard DIN mount, then all you need is a couple of flat 
pieces of metal to slide in and release the tabs on the mounting bracket 
that hold the radio in, then pull the radio out.  I have dozens of the 
things around somewhere, they come with new units.  Something about 1/4 
wide and maybe 4in long that will slide in the slots on the side will do it.

Thanks for the link, Kaleb.  I am as cheap as anyone else here, but
$2.50 including shipping is definitely cheaper than the value of the
time I'd spend making my own...
