Re: [MBZ] prime
Depends on the seller - who it is ultimately coming from. I have noticed that the stated delivery date during checkout is pretty accurate. Re: [MBZ] prime
I just canceled Prime because they were doing an automatic card charge for $18.96 each month, even though I had bought nothing from them for about 2 years... That adds up.. but it's small enough I didn't catch it in the electronic bank monthly statement. I wonder how many million$ amazon steals each month using that ruse... I never signed up for a "membership", ever. Last year or two, stuff sent Prime comes later than originally estimated, stuff bought with free shipping comes quicker than stated, and there's really no big difference between the two. I've never had a Prime membership outside of the free 30 day trials, probably had a dozen of them over the years, and before Covid two day Prime shipping was indeed a thing. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
Re: [MBZ] prime
I canceled Prime several years ago when I started noticing that stuff wasn't generally arriving much faster, and the Prime items often cost more than the same items + shipping from other sellers. And the other stuff (Video, etc.) I never used. I basically stopped buying anything on Amazon in late 2019. [MBZ] prime
It used to be if you had a Prime membership you could count on getting your items within 2 days, free. Sometimes items would arrive the next day. Heck, I have even had times where I ordered in the morning and it arrived say day. Lately it seems worse and worse. Now you are lucky to get items within a week. For example, I wanted to order some stuff that I figured would arrive this weekend. Nope, even prime items not arriving till next Tuesday.
