Re: [MBZ] 123 throttle bearing

2011-09-07 Thread Dieselhead
The 80 has a different bearing than 81 up. It was $7 from Rusty, the
Mr. Q man. I ordered a new one. 123 300 00 40

There are 4 types:
123 300 00 40 ~$7
123 300 09 40 ~$4
123 300 xx 40~$20
123 300 13 40 $56

the first 2 fit 80 and earlier
the last two is for 81 and later.

$56.25 is almost $10 above list price for that.

You can get it from this dealer:
http://www.bmwmercedesparts.com/
for $33.60.

Part number is 123 300 13 40

Thanks Craig. As I have said many times before and this applies to Jaime who
used to buy from me, I will match ANYONE'S price on ANYTHING. That pretty
much covers it I think. The biggest difference when you buy parts from us is
that we understand the car. I have been selling parts for just Mercedes for
34 years. Not many people out there can say that. Nuff said.

I replaced one on the son's '80 240D with a new one from Rusty. It was not

Anybody have a 123 with good rubber bushings in the throttle bushing

Curt! Wanna sell the linkage from your 83?

I suspect you mean 123 300 00 40, which lists for $11. Just goto the
dealer.

Looks like this? http://www.autohausaz.com/secure/PartImages/123340.jpg

Or, order it here for $7.80, genuine Mercedes:

Sure, which part exactly? The rubber thing? Looks to be a bugger to get out
with the engine in the way...

I've got the week off and already have a parts order from somebody else,
anybody needs anything this is a great time.

At some point Canfield will get off his ass and come get the carcass, though if
he doesn't by November he'll lose his chance. I'm not wintering this car again,
it makes it hard to plow my driveway...
