The good news is that you can lay a 2x10 across it and have a nice bench
to sit on. Perhaps the only bumper I've ever seen that would work for
that.

And the air filter is a bit of an abomination.
I guess universal bellows flex radiator hose is OK if nobody is making a

Leno always says to find the owners club for the marque and get in touch
with them. They will know where/how to advertise and what is a
reasonable ask so you will generate legitimate interest and not just
club members posting messages on the club email list about how you're on

Or throw it on BaT and hope it strikes up an irrational bidding war.

Re: [MBZ] MGB?

2021-04-08 Thread Floyd Thursby via Mercedes
no idea, I don't know anything about them other than they are old and
kinda cool and some guys are into them.  Get some good pics and post
them somewhere, would be fun to see.  I could shop it around here if you
want.

You probably wouldn't fit comfortably if you are much over 6' tall. I drove an
MGB-GT once when I was in college and 6'4" and I barely fit, it was fun to
drive it around the ramp at the airport but that was about it. I think it would
have been dangerous to drive it on the road, being able to work the pedals and all.

You could flip it to someone who would appreciate it. If you are interested I
could advertise it around here, there are rich guys who I have seen driving
some old MGs, would probably pay some good money if in decent shape.
