Re: [MBZ] OMG I have sooooooo been waiting for this!
There was a PGA golf thing down the road a coupla years ago, 3 or 4, and MB was a sponsor. They had a load of Cs and Es and a few Ss all silver for running the playas and VIPs around. They had them all parked at the airport before and after, I guess the motor pool for running them back and forth. I saw a parade of them running down the road one day, 30 or so in a pack. They had a big tent set up at the venue, a few cars and some displays on stuff. No clothing, though it probably would have been a big hit over there among all the swells. There was free parking at the remote lot for Benzes, I drove the old TD over which I thought fit in quite well. --JC On 6/7/16 3:47 PM, Craig via Mercedes wrote: On Tue, 7 Jun 2016 14:02:03 -0400 Joel Cairo via Mercedes wrote: http://www.amlu.com/2016/06/07/mercedes-benz-teams-up-with-hugo-boss-for-2016-golf-collection/ And this demonstrates very clearly just how much MBNA is out of touch. Re: [MBZ] OMG!! We almost died!
I was not witness to the wheel wiggle visual. A person could tell that something was not right and that there was movement of a sort at the wheel point from inside the car. It felt to me that the caliper had come loose, or that a bushing was allowing excess movement when changing direction from reverse to forward motion, or when braking in reverse. While the whole circus was going on, I was drooling over the three W113 that were waiting to go up on the lift. Much consternation and looks of horror were had, which got my attention, so I went to find out what the excitement was. Witnesses were describing immanent catastrophe, so I took them at their word. clay 2002 s430 - Victor, a Stately & well tailored chap 1974 450sl - Frosch - Two tone green 1972 220D - Gump - She was green, simple and ran 1995 E300D - Gave her life to save me against a Dame in a SUV POS 1987 SDL - Beware Nigerian Scammers On Mar 7, 2015, at 5:52 PM, Dan Penoff via Mercedes wrote: > Glad you caught this, but I'm confused. > > I don't understand how a missing caliper bolt would make the wheel wiggle. > There's no relationship between the caliper and the wheel as far as the > wheel's position. > > Please elaborate. > > Dan > > > > >> On Mar 7, 2015, at 8:47 PM, clay via Mercedes wrote: >> >> Months ago, #1 boy and I installed new rotors on his w140. Glad you caught this, but I'm confused. I don't understand how a missing caliper bolt would make the wheel wiggle. There's no relationship between the caliper and the wheel as far as the wheel's position. Please elaborate. Re: [MBZ] OMG it's a message that is related to cars!!!!!!!
A couple of tips, the slide calculator can be made bigger, I found that inserting the pictures into MS office allows me to adjust the height of both parts to 21.8cm, which is 23% bigger and makes it easier to read. Well actually I made the first part 21.8 high and had to adjust the slide part to fit but it can be made bigger or smaller, as long as both parts are the same height and the aspect ratio is locked. Remember as the pictures are on their side the height will end up as the width of the finished slide calculator. Do not be tempted to turn the pictures because A4 is higher than wider. I used photo paper to build this and it gives it a nice strong feel to it.
